SSRVM Uplifts Leadership and Green Initiatives with Investiture Ceremony and Vanamahotsava
Mangaluru, July 23, 2023: Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir witnessed a momentous occasion as it hosted its Investiture Ceremony, aimed at inspiring and nurturing leadership qualities among the students.
The event on July 18 marked the formation of the Student Council for the 2023-24 academic session, with the selection of students to hold prestigious School Posts and House Posts.
Guests, including Ranjini Kotian, Corporator of Derebail East, Principal Suresh Mahalingapur, Coordinator Aparna Shenoy, and Administrator Vidya Raghunandan graced the occasion and took part in conferring the newly appointed council members with their well-deserved sashes and badges.
The Investiture Ceremony served as a powerful reminder that true leadership lies in inspiring others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more.
Vijayalaxmi Lakate, presided over the oath-taking ceremony of the newly appointed Board of Students’ Council, as they pledged their unwavering dedication to their Alma Mater and promised to serve with utmost sincerity and competence.
Following the oath-taking, a special felicitation was bestowed upon Dhanvith Rai, a commendable Grade IX student, for his prestigious achievement in receiving the Inspire Award.
The spirit of celebration continued with the vibrant Vanamahotsava event, graced by esteemed dignitaries who actively participated in planting saplings. The students of Grade IX showcased their talents through a mesmerizing song, an energetic dance performance, and an impressive mime show.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Suresh Mahalingapur extended his heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected Students’ Council. He emphasized the significance of setting priorities and the importance of teamwork. Reminding them that they embody the core values of the school, he urged the council members to take up their responsibilities with unwavering commitment and integrity.
