Holiday for schools and colleges in Mangaluru on Sept 2

Mangaluru, Aug 30, 2022: Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada Dr. KV Rajendra has declared a holiday for all schools and colleges of Mangaluru City on Sept 2.

“According to the police department as immersion procession of Ganapati idol will be held in several places in Mangaluru City Police Commissionerate limits on Sept 2, there will be crowd and increase in the movement of vehicles. This may affect the movement of school children. A holiday has been declared for all Anganwadis, Primary and High Schools, PUC, Degree, Diploma, ITI in the City Police Commissionerate limits on Sept 2,” the order issued by the DC today stated.
