Raghupathi Bhat launches Manipal Arogya Card 2022
Manipal, June 4, 2022: Udupi MLA K Raghupathi Bhat launched the Manipal Arogya Card 2022 at a function in Manipal today.
The card will help in providing healthcare treatment at an affordable price to the public. The cardholder can avail benefits of Medical and Dental services across Manipal hospitals situated in Manipal, Karkala, Mangaluru, Goa, and Kateel.
Launching the card, Bhat appreciated the Hospital for its initiative and also for dedicating Dr. TMA Pai Hospital in Udupi exclusively for the treatment of Covid patients during the two waves.
“Manipal group is providing treatment to millions of people at a discounted rate through Manipal Arogya Card Scheme,” he lauded.
Presiding over the function, Dr. H S Ballal, Pro-Chancellor, MAHE spoke about the success of the Arogya Card Scheme.
“Every year there is an increase in enrolment. Increasing enrolment of members indicates the popularity of the Manipal Arogya card. The money invested in buying the card will be received back in the form of discounts in just two or three uses of the card,” he said.
He added that in the past 21 years, the Hospital has been providing high-quality health care services to millions of people at a discounted rate with social care.
Lt. Gen. (Dr) M D Venkatesh, Vice-Chancellor, MAHE Manipal Guest of honor of the program said that the scheme started in the year 2000 for the people of the undivided Dakshina Kannada district and is now extended to 12 districts including Uttara Kannada, Davanagere, Chitradurga, Shivamogga, Chikmagalur, and Bellary.
Also, the people of neighboring states like Kerala, Goa, and others are getting the benefit.

Dr. Dilip G Naik, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, MAHE, Mangalore Campus felicitated best performed MAC representative of the Mangaluru region. Dr. Sharath K Rao Dean, KMC, Manipal welcomed the gathering, and Dr. B Unnikrishnan, Dean KMC Mangalore, proposed the vote of thanks. Krishna prasad B S was the master of ceremony for the program. People can enroll for the card at Kasturba Hospital Manipal, all the network hospitals, and with the authorized representatives.
About the Card:
The Manipal Arogya Cardholder can avail of a discount of 50% on consultation fees for both specialist and super-specialist Doctors, 30% discount on Diagnostics and Laboratory investigations, 20% discount on Radiology investigation, OPD Procedures, and Diabetic Foot care, ₹ 100/- discount on Dialysis, up to 12% discount on the medicines purchased from Hospital Pharmacy & 25% concession on Inpatient bill excluding consumables and packages in General Ward.
Manipal Arogya Card 2022 will include one year and two-year scheme.
1 year scheme
- Individual membership for 1 person, at ₹ 300,
- Family membership includes his/her spouse and any number of unmarried children below 25 years at ₹ 600
- Family plus membership includes individual spouse, any number of unmarried children below 25 years, and up to 4 parents including in-laws at ₹ 750.
2 year scheme
- Individual scheme at ₹ 500
- Family scheme is ₹ 800
- Family plus is ₹ 950
