Gold worth Rs 32.72 lakh seized at Mangaluru Airport
Mangaluru, June 04, 2022: Customs officials of Mangaluru International Airport seized 624 gram gold worth Rs 32.72 lakh from a passenger on June 4.
Officials said that the passenger hailing from Kasargod, Kerala had arrived from Dubai by Air India Flight.
The gold was concealed in powder form inside the brown carton box carried as checked-in baggage. The total worth of gold is estimated to be Rs 32,72,880.
