Gold worth Rs 17.43 lakh seized at Mangaluru Airport
Mangaluru, Aug 10, 2022: Customs officers at Mangaluru International Airport seized gold worth Rs 17.43 lakh today.
According to sources, a male passenger from Kasargod had arrived from Dubai on Wednesday. The gold (332 grams) in the form of paste mixed with solid gum was concealed inside the sole portion of a pair of slippers worn by the passenger.
