Manipal: Mental Health Consultation Camp on Oct 10
Udupi, October 09, 2025: On the eve of World Mental Health Day, the Department of Clinical Psychology, Manipal College of Health Professions (MCHP), MAHE Manipal, is organising a Mental Health Awareness and Consultation Camp on October 10, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hirebettu Gram Panchayat office.

The camp aims to support individuals facing various psychiatric and psychological conditions, including OCD, depression, anxiety, and, in children, ADHD, autism, developmental delays, learning disabilities, and academic stress. Screening for the Unique Disability ID (UDID) Card and assessments for other disabilities will also be conducted. Participants will receive personalised counselling and customised psychological management tips. The initiative is free of cost and seeks to promote mental health for all, especially among the needy.

Highlighting the objective, Dr. Shwetha T.S., Associate Professor and Head, Department of Clinical Psychology, MCHP, said, “Our vision is to build an ecosystem that recognises mental health as an essential pillar of overall well-being.”
