However, there will be no holiday for degree, postgraduate, diploma, engineering, or ITI institutions. Colleges have been asked to conduct classes with caution, ensuring student safety during their commute and while on campus.

The district administration has issued a general advisory to all college heads and related institutions. Student attendance has been made non-mandatory for the day. Principals have been asked to ensure that students commuting to and from college do so safely. Students who need to cross water-filled roads, streams, or flooded areas are advised to remain at home. Classes should not be held in buildings deemed weak or structurally unsafe, and principals must assess the condition of their buildings to prevent any mishaps.

Transport safety must be ensured for students using college vehicles.
