ELC Mangalore Launches Montessori Teacher Training Diploma in Tie-Up with IMTC
Mangaluru, April 24, 2025: The Early Learning Centre (ELC), Mangalore, a leading institution in early childhood education, has announced the launch of a Montessori Teacher Training – Diploma Course in association with the Indian Montessori Training Centre (IMTC), Koramangala, Bengaluru.
The course, set to commence on May 1, 2025, will follow a blended learning format, combining online modules with in-person sessions. The collaboration aims to equip aspiring educators with both theoretical grounding and practical exposure to the Montessori philosophy, which has shaped early learning worldwide since its inception.
Under the guidance of Ms. Lata Rao, Director of IMTC – Koramangala and a nationally recognized figure in Montessori education, the course promises high-quality training in line with internationally accepted Montessori standards.
“This diploma programme is designed not just for teachers, but also for parents, career switchers, and anyone passionate about child development,” an ELC spokesperson said. “Participants will gain a deep understanding of child psychology, classroom management, and hands-on Montessori teaching techniques.”
The 10-month course, open to all regardless of age or gender, will be held at the ELC campus, Kottara Cross, Mangalore. Practical teaching internships and classroom observations will be a key part of the training, providing real-time feedback and teaching experience.
