Rotary Club Belthangady Marks Navaratri with Festivities and Traditional Performances
Belthangady, Oct 20, 2024: Navaratri is a reflection of the rich cultural heritage of the nation, guiding society from darkness towards light and prosperity, said Puran Verma, President of Beltangadi Rotary Club. He was speaking at the Navaratri celebrations organized by the Rotary Club at the Rotary Seva Bhavan.
Highlighting the significance of festivals, Verma stated that such celebrations enrich life, instill devotion, and teach the values of discipline and purity.
The event also featured a vibrant Garba-Dandiya cultural performance, followed by a captivating tiger dance by the ‘Classic Tigers’ team from Dharmasthala. The program was compered by Rtn BK Dhananjaya Rao, and Rotary Club Secretary Sandesh Kumar Rao delivered the vote of thanks.
