Manipal College of Dental Sciences Launches Premium Evening Dental Clinic
Manipal, August 1, 2024 – The Manipal College of Dental Sciences (MCODS) inaugurated its much-anticipated Premium Evening Dental Clinic, aimed at enhancing dental care accessibility for the community. The clinic was officially opened by Lt Gen (Dr) M D Venkatesh VSM (Retd), Vice Chancellor of MAHE Manipal, in a ceremony that marks a new chapter in providing convenient healthcare services.
The clinic will offer a comprehensive range of dental treatments and procedures, including Oral Health Screening, Pediatric Dental Care, Root Canal Treatment, Crowns, Bridges and Veneers, Dental Extractions and Surgical Treatment, Implantology, Orthodontic Brackets and Aligners, and Aesthetic Dentistry.
In his address, Lt Gen (Dr) M D Venkatesh emphasized the importance of this facility, noting, “This new clinic meets a critical need for the general public, particularly for working professionals, students, and others who require dental care outside regular hours.”
Dr Sharath Kumar Rao, Pro Vice Chancellor of MAHE, Manipal, shared his enthusiasm about the initiative, highlighting that the Premium Evening Dental Clinic will operate on all working days from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. “This extended service ensures that dental professionals are available for consultations during hours that are more convenient for the community,” he stated.

The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including Dr Anand Venugopal, COO of Teaching Hospitals at MAHE, Manipal, Dr Avinash Shetty, Medical Superintendent of Kasturba Hospital, Manipal, and senior dental consultants.
