Mangaluru, Feb 05, 2024: Institute of Management and Commerce organised a session on the Union Budget 2024 of India on Feb 02 to create awareness about the budget among students.

Ananthesh V Prabhu, President, KCCI, and Balwinder Singh, Senior Manager, Credit Section, KBL, Mangalore Panchal, were the special speakers who provided a comprehensive understanding of the budget and its policies.

The session was a unique opportunity for the students to learn about the latest budget proposals and their impact on the Indian economy. Many teams of students of Final Year MBA were presented with the Gist of Union Budget 2024. their presentations enlightened the audience on the topic they had covered.

Prof Venkatesh S Amin Dean of IMC and Dr Abhisheik N, Co-ordinator of the program shared their views on Budget 2024 and Thanked the Guests and Gatherings. Dr Neethu Suraj and Prof Vinutha Co-Convenors of the Program, Dr Prasad Mahale, HOD, IMC, Prof Sagar, HOD, IPSLM and Faculties of IMC were present in the program.

Further, the students also attended a live session of the Union Budget on Feb 01 presented by the Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Parliament.

This live session provided insight into the budget and allowed the students to understand the budget-making process and its implications in real-time. The session was an opportunity for the students to learn about the latest economic policies of the Indian government and their potential impact on the country’s growth and development.
