Srinivas University: ICEMN-2023 Inaugurated
Mangaluru, Dec 31, 2023: The International Conference on Electronics, Mechanical and Nanotechnology (ICEMN-2023), organized by Srinivas University was inaugurated at Hotel Srinivas on December 29.
The distinguished guest for the occasion was Dr. Umamaheswaran R., a renowned Scientist from ISRO, who announced ISRO’s unwavering support for research and academics at Srinivas University. Dr. Umamaheswaran highlighted ISRO’s commitment to engaging the public and students, providing them with opportunities to visit ISRO and delve into the intricacies of satellite and rocket technology.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. A Raghavendra Rao, Chancellor of Srinivas University, conveyed the university’s intent to facilitate Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), collaborative research initiatives, and partnerships. Dr. Rao envisioned Srinivas University as a leading institution in research and sought enhanced cooperation from ISRO.
As the Chief Guest, Dr. A Srinivas Rao, Pro Chancellor of Srinivas University, affirmed strong support for research activities and reiterated the university’s dedication to fostering collaborative research endeavors.
Dr. S. Muralikrishna, a Scientist from the Sensor Technology Lab at King Mongkut’s University of Technology, Thailand, underscored the significance of nano-technology and advancements in Li-ion batteries in the broader technological landscape.
Dr. Anil Kumar, Vice Chancellor I/C & Registrar of Srinivas University, shared insights into the current trends and opportunities available for students in technical fields.
The conference witnessed the registration of approximately 100 papers from the UK, Malaysia, and various parts of the country, reflecting a diverse and global participation. Dr. Ajay Kumar, Registrar of Development, and Dr. Thomas Pinto, Dean of the Institute of Engineering & Technology, along with Dr. Naveen Kumar J R, Head of Electronics, were present.
Prof. Srinath Rao introduced the chief guests to the audience, and Dr. Praveen B.M. welcomed the gathering. Prof. Chaitra delivered the vote of thanks. Prof. Rohan compered the program.
