Srinivas University Organizes Research Conclave -23
Mangalore, July 29, 2023: Srinivas University’s Research and Innovation Council conducted the Research Conclave -23 at Hotel Srinivas today bringing together the research scholars, guides, deans, and university administrators, including the Chancellor, Pro Chancellor, and Vice Chancellor.
Inaugurating the event Chancellor of Srinivas University, Dr A. Raghavendra Rao emphasized the importance of forging new frontiers in research, urging researchers to strive for standard excellence in their work, thus enhancing the quality of their publications.
He stressed the need for more materialistic and experimental research to drive the development of the nation and humanity as a whole.
Pro Chancellor of Srinivas University, Dr. Srinivas Rao highlighting the significance of a research-rich nation in fostering overall development.
He urged for the mobilization and encouragement of talents across the nation, positioning India at the forefront of global advancements. Notably, Srinivas University already contributes to approximately 1% of total Indian publications, showcasing the institution’s commitment to research excellence.
He further advocated a focus on practical research to secure more patents and intellectual property rights for the university.
Dr. P. S. Aithal, the Vice Chancellor of Srinivas University, emphasized the institution’s founding principles as a research university, with a vision to contribute significantly to societal development. He encouraged all members of the university community to seize the opportunities presented to them and strive for personal and academic growth.
