Holiday for schools and Colleges in Dakshina Kannada on July 25

Mangaluru, July 24, 2023: With IMD issuing red alert for Coastal Karnataka districts, as a precautionary measure the Dakshina Kannada district administration has declared holiday for schools and Colleges on July 25.

Holiday has been declared for all Schools and Pre-University (PU), Degree Colleges, private and government-aided educational institutions, in the district on July 25. DK Deputy Commissioner, Mullai Muhilan, has issued an official order in connection with this move.

The decision comes following the issuance of a heavy rainfall warning by meteorological authorities.

Similarly, neighboring Udupi district has also declared a holiday for schools and PU Colleges.
