Udupi Commanding Officer Col RK Singh visits St Mary’s College
Shirva, Nov 07, 2022: Colonel R K Singh, Commanding Officer, 21 Karnataka Battalion NCC, Udupi, visited St Mary’s College, Shirva.
Addressing the cadets, he said the NCC is helpful in personality development and developing leadership qualities.

“NCC training motivates the cadets to serve the country and social service. It is a boon for cadets to lead a disciplined life and also get a good job. In the competitive era, youth can participate in various training of NCC to become physically and mentally fit,” he said.
He interacted with the cadets and College Principal Dr. Herald Ivan Monis.

Lt Col R S Rawat, Administrative Officer, 21 Karnataka Battalion NCC, Udupi, Subedar Santosh Kumar, Training JCO, and John William Vegas, NCC Officer, School Division, were present on the dais.
NCC officer of the college, Lt. K. Praveen Kumar welcomed the gathering. Senior under Officer Mohit N Salian, Company Sergeant Quartermaster Ashish Prasad, Sergeant Deepak, Ryan D’Souza and Cadet Anup Nayak assisted.
