Shirva, Feb 10, 2022: Weapon Training Camp was held for NCC Army Wing cadets at St Mary’s College, Shirva.

The camp was led by 21 Karnataka Battalion Udupi Commanding Officer Col R K Singh.

“Every cadet should have practical knowledge about weapons. This will help in their future job,” said College Principal Dr. Herald Ivan Monis who presided over the program.

On the occasion Cadet, Ashish Prasad and others who participated in the Best Firing training at Karkala Police Firing Range were felicitated.

NCC officer Lt K Praveen Kumar spoke about the need and use of the camp.

21 Karnataka Battalion NCC Udupi Unit Havildar JCO Tisering Angchok, Santhosh Kumar, NCO Gurupal Singh were the resource persons.

Students Welfare Officer Yashoda, Senior Under Officer Vishal S Moolya, Junior Under Officer Harishita, Suraksha were present. Company Sargent, Quarter Master Mohit N Salian, Corporal Dheraj, Anup Nayak, and others cooperated.

Cadet Elrusha Milina D’Sa compered program. Cadet Janisiya Noronha welcomed the gathering and lobo Rhea Ann Nevil Proposed vote of thanks.
