Mangaluru, Sep 13, 2022: The Bank of India handed over a cheque of Rs 10 lakh for the construction of the centenary hall of the Indian Red Cross Society in Mangaluru on Tuesday.

As part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Bank of India MD and CEO Atanu Kumar Das handed over the cheque to Red Cross Society district president CS Shantharam Shetty, vice president, and ZP CEO Dr. Kumar.

Dr. Kumar lauded Bank of India for extending financial support to the Indian Red Cross Society at the most opportune time.

Speaking on the occasion, Atanu Kumar Das spoke about the CSR activities of the Bank.

“We are also part of the Beti Bachao-Beti Padao movement. Each branch helps the education of two girl child from Class I to Graduation,” he said.

General Manager Vivekanand Dubey, Zonal Manager MP Suresh, Red Cross Society DK unit honorary secretary BK Kusumadar, Vice Chairman Dr. Sathish Rao, Treasurer Mohan Shetty K, Directors Dr. Sachidananda Rai, Gurudutt M Nayak, PB Hariprasad were present.
