Modi lays foundation stone for Punjalkatte- Charmadi road widening project
Mangaluru, June 20, 2022: Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for Punjalkatte-Charmadi section road widening. This is one among the various projects for which the foundation stone was laid by the Prime Minister today at Bengaluru.
Widening the stretch is one of the dream projects of MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and Belthangady MLA Harish Poonja. Understanding its importance, in March this year, Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari had approved Rs 718 for the widening of the 35 km stretch between Punjalkatte and Charmadi stretch.

- Sir M Visvesvaraya Railway Terminal, Bengaluru
- Doubling Yelahanka-Penukonda and Arasikere-Tumakuru Railway lines
- 100 percent electrification of Konkan Railway

- Multi-Modal Logistics Park and external trunk connectivity to Multi-Modal Logistics Park in Bengaluru.
