St Mary’s College organizes Workshop on Maths for Competitive Exam
Shirva, June 09, 2022: Students who want to face competitive exams should be equipped with complete information of the subject and proper guidance,” said Dr. Herald Ivan Monis, Principal, St Mary’s College, Shirva.
He was speaking at the Mathematics Training Awareness workshop held at the college on June 7.
“Such workshops are essential in ensuring that students, along with hard work, realize the skills of competitive exams and make efforts to get a job and shape their bright future,” he said.
The workshop was jointly organized by the Department of Computer Science of St. Mary’s College, Shirva, and the IT Club. Praneetha, Mathematics Lecturer, ECR Group of Institution, Koteshwar, was the resource person.
Lt. Shri K. Praveen Kumar, Head, Department of Computer Science and Director, IT Club, spoke about the purpose and importance of the workshop.
Final year BCA students Preetika, Vidhata Shetty, Prajwal, Pratwin Bangera, Deviprasad Shetty, Priyanka Acharya, Surekha Rao, Shamita Shetty, Dyuthi Shree, Hardik Salian, Deeksha who got selected in campus selection were felicitated on the occasion.
Lecturers Divyashree B. Prakash, all faculty members of the BCA department, non-teaching staff, relatives, and students were present.
Students Anup Nayak and Alister Sujoy D’Souza helped.
