 Srinivas University students create awareness on vector-borne diseases

Mangaluru, May 31, 2022: The NSS unit of the Institute of Management & Commerce, Srinivas University organized two days awareness campaign on Malaria and Dengue on May 23 and 24.

The NSS Officer of the BBA Unit and BBA Honours Coordinator Prof. A. K. Aneesh led the students of various specializations constituting separate teams and distributed pamphlets and posters in and around the city. They educated the general public on the perils of water stagnation that could lead to the breeding of flies and mosquitos.

Faculty coordinators along with around 200 Students in teams visited houses, shops, and restaurants in the city to create awareness of vector-borne diseases and mosquito breeding sources and distributed leaflets. Prof. Keerthan Raj, Dean of the Institute of Management and Commerce, Srinivas University, facilitated the campaign.
