Kaniyooru Sri gets Honorary Doctorate
Mangaluru, April 09, 2022: Sri Vidyavallabha Teertha Sripadaru of Kaniyooru Matha was honored with the Doctorate of Letters at the 4th convocation of Srinivas University today.
Sri Vidyavallabha Teertha Sripadaru dedicated his doctorate to his Guru.
In his speech recollected how Srinivas University Chancellor Dr. A Raghavendra Rao and his Guru met at Tirupathi Temple and how the close relationship continued.
Dr. A. Raghavendra Rao presided over the function. Vice-Chancellor Pro-Chancellor Dr. A. Srinivas Rao was the guest.
On this occasion, Rank and Gold medal students in various academic disciplines and Ph.D. Graduates were honored. As many as 668 degrees were awarded to 183 undergraduates, 6 Ph.D., 3d.scs, and one D.Lit.
Srinivas University Board of Governors Trustee member A Vijayalakshmi R Rao, Prof A Mitra S Rao, Vice-Chancellor Dr. P.S. Aithal, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. J. Satya Sai Kumar, Registrars, Principals and Deans of different department and college were present at the occasion.
Development Registrar Dr. Ajay Kumar welcomed the guests, Registrar Dr. Anil Kumar proposed the vote of thanks. Prof. Rohan Fernandez and Dr. Padma hosted the event.
