Complete MGNREGA works within time frame: Priyanga M
Karwar, Jan 04, 2022: Uttara Kannada Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Priyanga M has asked all the departments to complete the projects under MGNREGA within the set time frame.
She was heading the MGNREGA progress meeting at Zilla Panchayat hall today.
“Various projects like agriculture well, compost tank, forest trench, nursery, silk, road construction, public well, well and toilet are undertaken under MGNREGA in the districts. There is a set time limit for every work. Any delay cannot be tolerated. Action will be initiated against the erring officials,” she warned.
Forest, Agriculture, Social Forestry officials and Assistant Directors of all Taluk Panchayats, ADPC, Technical Assistants, MIS, IEC Conveners were present.
