Prepare database of those working in health sector: Udupi DC

Udupi, Oct 29: Udupi Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesh asked the health department officials to prepare a database of all those working in the health sector.

The COVID vaccination in the advanced stage and once it is released the Central government intends to provide it on priority to the COVID warriors and those in the health sector. In the backdrop of this, during the COVID Vaccination district co-ordination committee Udupi DC G Jagadeesh has asked the officials to keep the database ready.

Jagadeesh asked to collect the details of all the doctors, nurses, lab technicians, assistants, and other workers who are serving in the 92 government and 982 private organizations registered under the KPME Act.

He said that steps will be taken to provide vaccination to the elderly and the high risk patients in the next stage.

Jagadeesh asked the people to ensure social distancing and wear a mask.
