Expert PU College students shine in JEE (Mains) 2025 with six achieving 100 percentile in Physics and Chemistry


Mangaluru, April 19, 2025: In a remarkable feat, six students from Expert PU College, Mangaluru, have achieved 100 percentile scores in individual subjects in the prestigious national-level engineering entrance test, JEE (Mains) 2025. Of these, five students secured 100 percentile in Physics, while one student achieved a perfect score in Chemistry.
Students Manish L. (overall percentile: 99.4178456), K.R. Ruthvik (99.3686949), Shivang Gowda S. Patil, Bhuvanesh M.V., and Shreya S. Patil scored a perfect 100 percentile in Physics. Safal S. Shetty scored 100 percentile in Chemistry, adding to the institution’s stellar performance.
This success comes as part of the final attempt of JEE (Mains) 2025, where a total of 31 students from Expert PU Colleges at Kodialbail and Valachil scored above the 99 percentile mark. The performance breakdown is equally impressive — 83 students scored above 98 percentile, 123 above 97 percentile, 170 above 96 percentile, 206 above 95 percentile, and as many as 405 students scored above 90 percentile.

In the general category, Avaneesh B. secured 1050th rank, Lohit G. secured 1884th rank, Aniketh Magadam secured 3347th rank, Yashas Yogindra secured 3352nd rank, K. Rehan Mohammad secured 3660th rank, Saish Shravan Pandit secured 3727th rank, Amulya Kamath secured 3867th rank, and Yashas Patil G.S. secured 4342nd rank. In the category-wise rankings, Pragnya Manjunath secured 115th rank, Dheeraj P. Karishivannavar secured 273rd rank, Sai Lakshminarayanan secured 378th rank, Vishal Basavaraj Pawar secured 570th rank, and Shobit Prakash secured 787th rank.
Many of these achievers had also ranked among the top scorers in the state’s II PUC board examinations held earlier this year, and their continued excellence in national-level assessments has brought pride to the institution and the region.
