Expert PU College students shine in NEET 2026, 60 score above 600
Mangaluru, July 18, 2026: Expert Pre-University College, Mangaluru, has recorded an outstanding performance in the NEET UG 2026 examination, with 60 students scoring more than 600 marks, marking one of the institution’s best-ever results.
Among the top performers, Dheeraj N. scored 677 out of 720 and secured All India Rank (AIR) 336, while Ankit Ashok Dodawad scored 676 marks and obtained AIR 355.
According to the institution, 97.36 per cent of its students qualified for medical admissions, significantly higher than the national qualifying percentage of around 56 per cent.
The college reported that:
- 2 students scored above 675 marks.
- 10 students scored above 650.
- 34 students scored above 625.
- 60 students scored above 600.
- 141 students scored above 575.
- 169 students scored above 550.
- 258 students scored above 525.
- 356 students scored above 500.
- 477 students scored above 475.
- 614 students scored above 450.
- 726 students scored above 425.
- 853 students scored above 400.
Institution Chairman Prof Narendra L Nayak said the results reflect the quality of coaching and consistent academic support provided by the college.
Other students who secured notable All India Ranks include Ujwal Shivanand Boodihal (667 marks, AIR 619), Samay A. S. (665, AIR 686), Nandan G. Patil (661, AIR 828), Nishanth M. Gowda (660, AIR 886), Krutika Mallikarjun Patil (660, AIR 894; Category Rank 57), Yashas N. M. (660, AIR 875), Milan Madesh S. (655, AIR 1,157) and Sanskar Ranjeet Shinde (655, AIR 1,153).
Among other high scorers were Nikhil Bhushan Srinivas (649, AIR 1,529), Deepak Gowda M. (645, AIR 1,883), Mohammad Shahzeb (645, AIR 1,807), Muktha S. (645, AIR 1,811), Tushar Narayana (643, AIR 1,989), S. Risheeth (641, AIR 2,164; Category Rank 22), Amoghavarsha G. (640, AIR 2,276), Bhavish Benaka K. S. (640, AIR 2,290), Arale Virupakshi (640, AIR 2,297) and Nihal Jakkanagoudar (640, AIR 2,340).
Several other students also secured scores between 600 and 639 marks, earning All India Ranks within the top 10,000. In addition, Preetham Sankanal secured Category Rank 32 in the PwD category.
Prof. Nayak congratulated the students, parents and faculty members for the achievement and said the results reaffirm the institution’s strong record in medical entrance coaching.
