Kurma Rao appointed as Udupi DC
Udupi, Aug 29, 2021: Udupi DC Jagadeesha G has been transferred as Joint Secretary to Chief Minister.

Kurma Rao M, A 2011 batch officer has been appointed as the new DC of Udupi. Kurma Rao is presently serving as the Managing Director of North Eastern Karnataka Road Transport Corporation.
He had earlier served as the Deputy Commissioner of Yadagiri district.
On August 10, The Canara Post had published the news first about government’s decision to transfer Udupi DC to CM’s office. Today the state government has issued the order.
