Udupi gears up for Sri Krishna Janmashtami
Udupi, Aug 29, 2021: The Temple Town of Udupi is gearing up for Sri Krishna Janmashtami on Monday.
Preparations have begun at Udupi Sri Krishna Matha. While it will be a low-key affair this time, the Matha will follow all the traditional rituals.
As many as 40,000 Chakkuli and 80,000 Unde (Laddus) were prepared to be distributed as Prasadam to the devotees. The temple employees along with volunteers and devotees prepared Chakkuli and Unde and packed them.
It will be distributed as Prasadam on Tuesday.
