An Eid gift by KIMS Karwar for Bhatkal’s 20

This was not just a happy movement for the patients but even the district administration and the personnel of Medical College as the 20 patients are the first set of patients who were treated in the COVID unit.
Earlier COVID patients were treated at the Naval hospital.

It was a special program in Karwar as senior officials of the district administration attended by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Harish Kumar K, Superintendent of Police Shiva Prakash Devaraju, ZP CEO M Roshan, Medical Superintendent Dr. Shivanand Kudtarkar and KIMS director Gajanan Naik.
They greeted every patient with flowers before living the hospital premises.
The patients expressed their happiness over the treatment they received at the hospital and thanked the district administration and COVID warriors for their service.

The district administration also held a program to honor all the staff who are serving the patients at the hospital. The doctors shared their experiences and challenges.
