Srinivas University BBA Students Visit Gurucharan Industries
Mangaluru, March 18, 2026: A total of 59 students from I BBA ‘C’ and II BBA ‘A’ of the Institute of Management and Commerce, Srinivas University, participated in an industrial visit to Gurucharan Industries at Baikampady on Monday, aimed at providing practical exposure to manufacturing operations.
The visit, organised by the Department of BBA, was accompanied by Prof. Prakruthi and Prof. Akshay. It focused on helping students understand real-time production processes, quality control measures and the functioning of industrial organisations.
Factory representatives briefed the students on the manufacturing workflow and operational procedures followed at the unit. The students observed various stages of production and gained insights into quality standards, hygiene practices and safety protocols maintained on the premises.
They were also introduced to the importance of teamwork and coordination in ensuring efficient industrial operations.
The visit concluded with an interactive session, during which students clarified their doubts related to production activities, business operations and workplace practices.
Faculty members said the exposure helped bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry experience, while enhancing students’ practical understanding, observation skills and professional awareness of organisational discipline and teamwork.
