Water Supply Disruption in Udupi on December 16 and 17
Udupi, Dec. 16, 2025:
Drinking water supply will be disrupted in all wards of the Udupi City Municipal Council limits on December 16 and 17 due to a power shutdown at the Hiriyadka substation.
According to a release from the City Municipal Commissioner’s office, electricity supply will be suspended at the 110 kVA substation for maintenance of electrical equipment during the two days. As a result, water supply to all wards under the Udupi City Municipal Council will be affected.
Residents have been requested to cooperate with the municipal authorities and make alternative arrangements during the disruption period.
