Expert PU College Celebrates Rajyotsava with Cultural Fervour and Pride

Mangaluru, Nov 04, 2025: Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Expert PU College, Mangaluru, marking the day in 1956 when the state of Karnataka was formed, symbolising the pride and unity of the Kannada language.
College Principal Prof. Ramachandra Bhat addressed the gathering, delivering an inspiring speech on the importance of preserving Kannada’s rich heritage, culture, and dignity. He reminded the students that Rajyotsava is a matter of pride for every Kannadiga and urged the youth to take active responsibility in safeguarding the language and its cultural essence.
Also present on the dais were Karunakar Balkur, Coaching Coordinator and Kannada Lecturer; Pramod Kini, Assistant Coaching Coordinator and Hindi Lecturer; Ramya Anil, Kannada Lecturer; along with other faculty members and students.
The programme was elegantly compered by first-year PU student Shrividya, who kept the event lively and well-coordinated.
Students presented soulful songs and inspiring speeches reflecting the glory of Karnataka’s culture, literature, and traditions, winning the hearts of the audience. On this occasion, teachers and students offered their respects to Kannada Thayi and pledged to uphold the honour of the land and language.
The celebration concluded successfully in an atmosphere filled with cultural pride, unity, and devotion to Kannada.
