Manipal Marathon 2025 Gears Up for Its 7th Edition & Opens Registrations
Manipal, October 23, 2024: The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has announced the 7th edition of the Manipal Marathon, scheduled for February 9, 2025. Registrations for the event, which has become one of India’s largest student-organized marathons, are now open. Following last year’s success, which saw over 15,000 participants, the 2025 edition is expected to attract over 20,000 runners from across the country.
The theme for the 2025 marathon, ‘Innovation in Motion: Embracing Technology for Health and Fitness’, aims to highlight the integration of technology in health and fitness. The event will feature certified race routes, international certification by IAAF AIMS, and a carnival-like atmosphere post-race, complete with prize money for top finishers in various categories.
The race will begin at 5:00 AM from KMC Greens, Manipal, offering participants a scenic route showcasing the landscapes of Manipal and the Udupi coastline. The Manipal Marathon is known for its inclusivity, bringing together runners of all levels to promote health, fitness, and social causes.
Organizers are encouraging participants to register early and be a part of this historic event, which combines sports, social awareness, and community spirit.
