Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony on Jan 21
Udupi, Jan 20, 2024: The foundation stone laying ceremony for the new building of Sri Narayana Guru Residential School building is scheduled for January 21 at 10 am in Vaddarse, Brahmavar taluk. The event is jointly organized by the District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, Backward Classes Welfare Department of Udupi, and the Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society, Bengaluru.
Women and Child Welfare Minister and Udupi district in-charge Laxmi Hebbalkar will officiate the foundation stone laying. Kundapur MLA A Kiran Kumar Kodgi will preside over the function.
The ceremony will witness the presence of notable dignitaries, including Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shobha Karandlaje, State Backward Classes Welfare and Kannada and Culture Minister Shivaraj Tangadagi, Social Welfare Minister HC Mahadevappa, Chairman of the State Backward Classes Commission Jayaprakash Hegde, MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary, and other distinguished guests.
