Mangaluru, March 22, 2022: The Student Council of the Institute of Allied Health Sciences was inaugurated at Srinivas University Campus, Mukka on March 17.

Prof. Dr. J Satya Sai Kumar, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Srinivas University was the chief guest.

He congratulated the newly elected Council Members. He mentioned the importance of badges conferred to the council members and their responsibilities as a “Team” to make the Institute of Allied Health Sciences reach great heights.

Dr. Anil Kumar, Registrar, Devaseelan S, Dean, Institute of Allied Health Sciences, were the guests of honor.

The Elected Student Council Members for 2021-2022 are:- Punnya Madhu C – (Student Body President), Sidharth Syam – (Vice President), Aleena Catherin – (Secretary), Stephin Georgy Abraham – (Joint Secretary), Aditi Nagaraj – (Treasurer), Alan Emmanuel Joshy – (Joint Treasurer), Hibba P P – (Cultural Secretary), Abhinand K – (Assistant Cultural Secretary), Lakshmi Prasad – (Cultural Joint Secretary), Hepziba Rajan – Sports Secretary), Vishnu Venu – (Assistant Sports Secretary), Arya E N – (Sports Joint Secretary), Poornima M – (Discipline Secretary), Ahmed Shahzadh – (Assistant Discipline Secretary), Sakshi – (Discipline Joint Secretary), Mohammed Nasih P T – (Media Secretary), Muhammed Jazeel – (Assistant Media Secretary), Razi Razak – (Media Joint Secretary).

Lavanya PS then administered the Oath to the Student Council members.

Punnya Madhu C, President of Student Council spoke on the occasion.

Organizers of the program were Maureen Edwards, Assistant Professor, and Akshay KM, Lecturer.

Lavanya P S (Assistant Professor, Department of Forensic Sciences) welcomed the gathering, Maureen Edwards (Assistant Professor/ Co-ordinator of Cultural Committee) spoke about the significance of the council. Sidharth Syam, Vice President of Student Council delivered the vote of thanks. Brilly Anto, Assistant Professor/ Co-ordinator of Media Committee compered the program.
