New Laboratory for Fertilizer Testing at Ullal
Mangaluru, July 15, 2025: A new building is under construction for the Fertilizer Control Laboratory at the Regional Agricultural and Horticultural Research Centre in Ullal.
The project is funded with ₹460 lakh under the centrally-sponsored Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana and is currently in its initial phase. Once operational, this lab will analyze fertilizer samples collected from retail outlets, and the analysis reports will be sent to the respective inspectors, as stated by the Joint Director of Agriculture.
