Udupi Declares Holiday for Anganwadis and Schools on June 16 Due to Heavy Rain
Udupi, June 15, 2025: In light of continued heavy rainfall across the district, Udupi Deputy Commissioner Vidya Kumari K has declared a holiday for all Anganwadi centres, and classes from 1st to 10th standard on Monday, June 16, 2025.
The order applies to government, aided, and private primary and high schools across the district. The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of children and school staff in view of the prevailing weather conditions.
