Discover Uttara Kannada: ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ Invites Votes for Top Spots
Karwar, Aug 27, 2024: In a bid to elevate the tourist destinations and attract more visitors, the Ministry of Tourism has launched the “Dekho Apna Desh People’s Choice-2024” program. This initiative aims to recognize and develop various tourist spots, including religious, cultural, traditional, natural, wildlife, waterfalls, and adventure sites, to world-class standards.
As part of this program, the district tourism department is encouraging youth, senior citizens, and tourists to vote for their favorite tourist spots in Uttara Kannada. People can participate by selecting the district’s tourist destinations on the official link: https://innovateindia.mygov.in/dekho-apna-desh/.
The Deputy Director and Member Secretary of the District Tourism Development Department has urged the public to actively participate in the initiative to bring Uttara Kannada’s beautiful and diverse attractions to the forefront of national tourism.
