SDM College signs MoU with MyLogic
Ujire, June 12, 2024: In a significant step towards enhancing educational opportunities in financial management, SDM College’s Department of Commerce has entered into a three-year agreement with the Mylogic Business Management School, Bengaluru to offer the CMA (USA) course.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Vinod Chandran, CEO, MyLogic Business Management School and Dr. B.A. Kumar Hegde, Principal of SDM College. The event was attended by Dr. Ratnavathi K, Head of the Department, and other faculty members.
Dr. B.A. Kumar Hegde highlighted the course’s effectiveness in preparing commerce students for the competitive job market, emphasizing its potential to open various career opportunities.
The newly introduced course spans one year and includes both online and offline classes. It aims to equip students with international-level qualifications in financial management and accounting. Similar to CA and CS courses, this program has garnered significant interest among students in recent years, offering vast opportunities in multinational corporations, financial services, and consulting firms globally.
Eligible for students who have completed or are currently pursuing a BCom degree, this course has already attracted around 20 students from SDM College. The MoU aims to encourage more students to enroll in this valuable program.
