Manipal: Dr. Suba Sooria Achieves ICN Leadership Milestone
Manipal, March 22, 2024: Dr. P Suba Sooria, Head of Nursing Services at Kasturba Hospital, Manipal, has achieved a significant milestone in her career by successfully finishing the esteemed ICN Leadership for Change (LFC) Programme and ICN LFC Trainings of Trainers Programme.
These programs, offered by The International Council of Nurses (ICN) and The Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, equip nurses with crucial leadership skills essential for driving organizational change to enhance nursing practice and achieve better health outcomes.
Established in 1995, the ICN LFC programme aims to empower nurses globally with leadership abilities to advocate for health policies supporting the nursing profession and to foster the well-being of nurses.
Dr. Anand Venugopal, Chief Operating Officer of Teaching Hospitals, MAHE, Manipal, and Dr. Avinash Shetty, Medical Superintendent of Kasturba Hospital, Manipal, jointly presented the certificate to Dr. Suba Sooria.
