Manipal: MAHE Celebrates a Historic Achievement in Boxing
Manipal Dec 30, 2023: In a momentous achievement for MAHE Manipal, a boxer Naman Bhat from Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) Manipal has set a new record by successfully qualifying from the South West Zone for the prestigious All India Inter University Boxing Championship.
This remarkable feat secures his participation in the championship scheduled to be held at Chandigarh University, Punjab, from January 2nd to January 5th, 2024.
Commander(Dr) Anil Rana, Director of Manipal Institute of Technology, expressed his pride and joy, stating, “This achievement not only reflects the dedication and hard work of our student-athletes but also the unwavering support and top-notch training facilities provided by MIT Manipal. We are thrilled to witness our boxer’s journey to the All India Inter University Boxing Championship and have every confidence in their success.”
