Heart Health Awareness Art Sculpture Unveiled at Kasturba Hospital
Manipal, September 29, 2023: In a significant commemoration of World Heart Day, Chief Operating Officer of the Teaching Hospital MAHE, Manipal, Dr. Anand Venugopal, along with Medical Superintendent Dr. Avinash Shetty, unveiled an impressive Heart Health Awareness Art Sculpture at Kasturba Hospital Manipal. The unveiling took place during a ceremony held at the hospital premises.
Dr. Shetty, addressing the gathering, emphasized the crucial role of a balanced diet and regular exercise in maintaining optimal heart health. He highlighted the sculpture as a symbolic reminder of this essential message for the community.
Dr. Padmakumar, Head of the Cardiology Department, Dr. Ganesh Kamath, Head of the Cardiology Surgery Department, Dr. Guruprasad Rai, Dr. Kirtinath Ballala, as well as Sachin Karanth and Mohan Shetty were present.
The intricate sculpture, crafted from eco-friendly materials, was the collaborative effort of Srinath Manipal and Ravi Hirebettu, showcasing their dedication to promoting sustainability alongside heart health.
