Dakshina Kannada: Holiday for schools and PU Colleges on July 26
Mangaluru, July 25, 2023: In view of the red alert issued by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) for Coastal Karnataka districts, the Dakshina Kannada district administration has taken precautionary measures by declaring a holiday for schools and PU colleges on July 26.
As per the official order issued by DK Deputy Commissioner, Mullai Muhilan, all Anganwadi centers, primary and high schools, pre-university (PU) colleges, and both private and government-aided educational institutions within the district will remain closed on July 26.
The decision was prompted by the heavy rainfall warning issued by meteorological authorities, prompting the district administration to prioritize the safety and well-being of students and staff.
