MAHE’s One-Day Conclave Ignites Interdisciplinary Integration of Health Sciences Research
Manipal, July 21, 2023: In a bid to stimulate innovation and collaboration in the field of health sciences research, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) in association with Kasturba Medical College organized a One-Day Conclave titled “Horizontal Integration of MAHE Health Sciences Research Verticals.”
The event was held at the MAHE campus in Manipal today.
The inaugural ceremony, graced by eminent personalities, Dr. Sharath Kumar Rao, Pro-Vice Chancellor – Health Sciences, MAHE, Manipal, and Dr. N N Sharma, Pro-Vice Chancellor – Strategy & Planning, MAHE, Manipal, set the stage for a day filled with insightful discussions, ideation, and the conceptualization of groundbreaking research initiatives.
Throughout the day, various distinguished experts and researchers shared their knowledge and expertise on the Conclave's central theme - "Interdisciplinary Integration of Health Sciences Research Verticals."
A major highlight was the unveiling of “Vision 2025: MAHE Health Sciences Research” by Dr. Sharath Kumar Rao.
This visionary document outlined MAHE’s ambitious roadmap for future endeavors in health sciences research. Dr. N N Sharma subsequently presented the strategic plan aimed at promoting health sciences research within MAHE, reflecting the institution’s strong commitment to advancing scientific knowledge for the betterment of society.
