SSRVM Celebrates Guru Purnima
Mangaluru, July 05, 2023: Amidst an aura of reverence and admiration, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Vidya Mandir observed the sacred occasion of Guru Purnima on July 3, honoring the invaluable contributions of spiritual and academic mentors in shaping young minds.
In commemoration of Guru Poornima, the school organized a unique and creative celebration – a portrait painting competition of Sri Sri Guruji for students from classes I to X.
The young artists, with brushes and pencils in hand and hearts brimming with devotion, poured their artistic talents onto the canvas, capturing the essence of their revered Guruji. Through the strokes of colors and expression, the students conveyed their profound gratitude for the invaluable guidance and wisdom bestowed upon them.
During the event, Gauri Vikasa Murthy eloquently conveyed the profound significance of Guru Purnima, emphasizing the role of gurus in guiding and inspiring students on their spiritual and academic journeys.
School Coordinator Aparna Shenoy gracefully performed the Guru Puja, infusing the atmosphere with a sense of reverence and spiritual energy. The students joined in heartfelt bhajans, harmoniously blending their voices in devotion and gratitude.
As the celebration drew to a close, the students eagerly sought the blessings of their spiritual and academic gurus, humbly approaching them with folded hands and open hearts. The gurus, in turn, blessed the students, nurturing their spirits and inspiring them to continue their journey of growth and knowledge.
