Mangaluru: SSRVM Celebrates International Day of Yoga with Zest and Joy
Mangaluru, June 24, 2023: The serene premises of Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir in Mangaluru came alive with a vibrant celebration of International Day of Yoga. The formal program commenced in the morning. Gopal Krishna Bhatt, Police Inspector (Traffic- Mangaluru East) was the chief guest.
A one-hour mass Yoga session was conducted, involving both teachers and students. The Chief Guest addressed the participants, emphasizing the significance of Yoga in leading a stress-free and healthy life. His insightful speech resonated with the audience, shedding light on the practical application of Yoga in everyday existence.
Suresh Mahalingpur, the school’s Principal, Aparna Shenoy, the Co-ordinator, and Vidya Raghunandan, the Administrator were present.
The teachings of Sri Sri Ravishankar Guruji echoed throughout the celebration, as he aptly says, “Yoga is wealth, in the sense that it brings absolute comfort. A violence-free society, disease-free body, stress-free mind, inhibition-free intellect, trauma-free memory, and a sorrow-free soul are the birthright of every individual.”
