Udupi Municipality Bans Shop Boards on Footpaths
Udupi, June 8, 2023: The Udupi City Municipality has issued a strict directive to commercial buildings and industrialists within its limits, prohibiting the installation of shop boards on footpaths.
Failure to comply with this regulation will result in the immediate removal of the boards by the municipal corporation, without any prior notification.
In addition, heavy fines will be imposed as a consequence, as stated in a press release from the office of the municipal commissioner.
