 St Agnes College Celebrates Year-End Valedictory Programme

Mangaluru, May 13, 2023: The Mother Mary Aloysia Centenary Auditorium was abuzz with energy as St Agnes College (Autonomous) held its year-end valedictory programme on May 13, 2023. The final year students of the postgraduate and undergraduate classes were ceremoniously ushered in by the college band, along with the principal, deans, and registrar.

Under the theme “Change takes Courage,” the program unfolded with a captivating prayer song, an enchanting welcome dance, and awe-inspiring group dance performances. These artistic expressions showcased the significance of using acquired knowledge and skills for the betterment of humanity, emphasizing the responsibility to embrace courage in driving significant change.

Sr Venissa, the principal of St Agnes College, delivered a moving message where she urged the students to adhere to the principles inculcated by the college. She wished the students a fruitful future and emphasized the need to give back to society, quoting from the scriptures to convey the same.

The student presidents of the undergraduate programme and postgraduate programme, Adeline and Mahima, respectively, along with the vice presidents of the undergraduate programmes, spoke on the occasion and expressed their sentiments of nostalgia and gratefulness for their growth and joyful experiences in the college.

The event was organized by the Department of Political Science, along with the Department of BBA, and compeered by Privy of I BA. St Agnes College’s year-end valedictory programme was a fitting tribute to the students’ journey, growth, and future endeavors.
