 Four Candidates File Nominations in Udupi District on First Day of Filing for 2023 Assembly Elections

Udupi, April 13, 2023: The first day of filing nominations for the 2023 assembly elections saw four candidates stepping up to file their candidature in Udupi district.

Kiran Kumar Kodgi, the BJP candidate for Kundapur assembly constituency and Dinesh from Congress filed nomination for Kundapur Assembly constituency. Ramdas Bhat of The Karnataka Rashtra Samithi (KRSS) has filed his nomination papers for the Udupi Assembly constituency, and V Sunil Kumar has filed his nomination papers as a BJP candidate for Karkala assembly constituency.

However, no nominations have been filed for Kapu and Byndoor assembly constituencies as of yet.

The last date for filing nominations is April 20, and the last date for scrutiny of nominations is April 21. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is April 24.
