 Aviation students transform waste bottles into stunning art at Institute’s painting competition

Mangaluru, March 20, 2023: Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, held a Bottle Painting Competition on March 11. The competition was for students pursuing B.B.A Aviation Studies and M.B.A Aviation Studies.

It aimed to promote creativity, emotional intelligence, and stress reduction among students. It also sought to develop the concept of reusing and recycling materials, keeping in line with the university’s sustainability goals.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who were required to use waste bottles to create their masterpieces. The students displayed their potential and skills to make stunning pieces of art. The participants showed great competitiveness and diligence in the event.

The cultural coordinators, Dr. Pavithra Kumari, Dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, and Prof. Kavyashree, Course Coordinators, Institute of Aviation Studies, organized the event.

From the B.B.A Department, Amitha S.N (III year B.B.A Aviation and Logistics Management) emerged as the winner of the competition. Deekshitha A.C (I year B.B.A Aviation and Logistics Management) and Rajeshwari (III year B.B.A Aviation Management) secured the second and third positions, respectively.

From the M.B.A department, Pratheeksha Shetty (I year M.B.A Aviation Management) and John Rodrigues (I year M.B.A Aviation Management) won the competition.
