Manipal: Kasturba Medical College and Hospital organizes Live Endoscopy and Infertility Ultrasound Workshop
Mangaluru, Jan 30, 2023: The Department of Reproductive Medicine & Surgery, Kasturba Medical College and Hospital, Manipal, a unit of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, organised Live Endoscopy workshop on 28th January 2023 and Live Infertility Ultrasound Awareness workshop on 29th January 2023 (Sunday) at Dr TMA Pai Auditorium.
These two day program was inaugurated by Dr Anand Venugopal, Chief Operating Officer, Teaching Hospitals, MAHE.
National experts and Department faculty demonstrated various infertility surgery and ultrasound techniques to enhance fertility. Issues such as endometriosis and fibroids, common causes of infertility, were addressed. Ultrasound, an important tool for diagnosing problems, was also demonstrated and discussed.
Finding the right day of ovulation with the new gadgets and techniques of ultrasound were shown.
Dr Pratap Kumar, HOD, Manipal Assisted Reproduction Centre (MARC) & Head of the Department of Reproductive Medicine and Surgery with other faculty, under the guidance of Dr Padmaraj Hegde, Dean, KMC Manipal and Dr Avinash Shetty, Medial Superintendent, Kasturba Hospital, MAHE, Manipal organized the event.
Over 100 delegates participated in the workshop.
